Cannot tell you how much I loved this. In my opinion it’s the best thing I’ve read written by you. Vulnerable, as your wife said, but also informative and inspirational, as I greatly identify with Paulina. I have not followed her, her life, or her story. But because of you I get to be inspired by her. I am very happy for her as well. What a story Evan. All of it! Including the pictures helped tell this story too, yours and hers.
I feel as though this deserves more comments! I really enjoyed it, Evan. One of your best pieces ever. PS. If you haven't already stumbled upon it on YouTube, I thought you might enjoy this fairly recent 60 Minutes Australia segment about Paulina: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XsV-yTTlNzw
Awesome post, Evan! I met Paulina at a small event in Seattle this past summer (book signing and Q&A) and she was kind, generous, funny, self-effacing and very, very open about how long it took her to find her boyfriend Jeff. She persevered and landed her guy and from what she describes, he's everything she could want. When it's hard to date online even for a supermodel, that puts everything into perspective! Thank you for Lovesplaining and for LoveU! I have learned so much from being both a subscriber and a client and can't recommend you more highly. :-)
Funny, I've seen your wife in person and she's got the Paula look about her with a lot more substance. Well done you, and I love how you share the great relationship you two have so it demonstrates the reality of what is truly possible. Thank you, always appreciate someone raising the bar with realism.
I must admit “boyhood crush” and “happy ending” drew me in. lol It felt like I was reading a suspense novel…hoping, hoping, hoping you’d get a chance to coach Paulina. Haha! It all worked out in the end. And, I feel better after the rollercoaster ride knowing it’s all nicely wrapped up. :)
I’m an 80s baby and never heard of Paulina until a few years ago when she posted her bikini photos on Instagram; and I saw the backlash. I’m looking at this woman, along with Heidi Klum, Donna D’Errico, Elizabeth Hurley and I HOPE to look half as good as these women do at 50 years young.

This is amazing!! Really love the relationship you have with your wife too ❤️ (based on that little snippet I’ve read).
